Diep Organics was founded by Owen Mulaudzi, originally from the Limpopo province, who was inspired by his management certification program to develop a business that would be beneficial for the health of his community.
Since inception in 2014, Diep Organics grows a wide variety of produce and herbs using organic practices while acknowledging the significant health benefits of natural foods. Owen successfully ran his business using the land adjacent to the Father Louis Blondel Centre in Diepsloot and over one hectare of land given by the City of Johannesburg’s Food Resilience Unit.
Diep Organics is proudly a zero-waste company as all unsold products are given to local Early Child Development (ECD) Programs throughout Diepsloot. Owen's dedication to healthy and organic produce and herbs paired with his commitment to the local community is continually inspiring and will always remain at the focal point of Diep Organics.
